Join me in seat 7A from Los Angeles International Airport to San Diego on a United Express Embraer E120. Thanks to the wonders of time lapse the trip on flight UA6335 on 4 May 2011 has been trimmed from roughly 30 minutes down to just over 3 minutes.

We taxied out from terminal 7 at LAX to the nearby runway 25R and headed out over the Pacific Ocean, with great views of the fuel depot at departure and the coastline pretty much the entire flight. As we got close to San Diego we headed inland to line up for the traditional (and awesome) landing on runway 27, coming in right over downtown. Truly one of my favorite landings anywhere in the world.
