      I was just reading into the kiva do event (that thread is crazy long)...and wanted to know if there is some way to see kiva supporters by geography? or is that just done via the addresses in the google docs form? i've been a passionate kiva/microfinance fan since 2007 and run a microfinance blog - mykro - on the side and would love a way to find supporters nearby to me

        that doesn't really help me find individuals. i've actually built a platform that would facilitate this scenario. my question is more along the lines of is finding other supporters nearby an interesting dynamic? how do we get more people together in person collaborating?

        Look at the Kiva API - you could parse each member's geographic information (when provided). Yes I know my site is down. FYI: the best place to start communication is via the information Tab -> Interact -> Start a Conversation, which begins a more private conversation…
