      All good. A great trip and BE both ways. It just could not have been easier and you prepared me for the entire transaction. We had a fantastic trip - even got the Club floor upgrade in EDI for 4,000 pts and $60 US per night.
      I will never go back to checked baggage unless I'm on a RTW trip. I have 3 more BP's to book before July so I'm dreaming up my next destination. Maybe somewhere warm without jet lag.

        I am so glad you had such a wonderful experience! Awesome deal on the floor upgrade too!

        BPs can be an amazing tool if you're willing to deal with them and you know how to! You did the research and got the information to use them well, congrats!

      Quick update from the Club Lounge at Sheraton EDI. BE no problem out and service was great. Lots of fun to see that name go up on the screen as cleared "up". The cabin was half empty and the other half was s4. Date worked in my favor and the stars lined up. Fingers crossed on return. London was great and sun is out in Scotland so hey it's all good. I'm a carry on convert.

        I'm so excited for you guys! BPs can be the greatest thing ever! Looks like you're on your way to many amazing vacays! Enjoy the rest of your trip! I'll be hoping for BE again on the way back, the perfect way to round out what's sure to be an incredible trip!

      Update: 25 Au AV in BE and 6 folks ahead of us on Nonrev with better DOE. Lots of very senior buddies. And nobody on ASL.
      The later flight has even more seats and nobody on standby list or ASL so looks good for both.
      Very junior crew on holiday weekend but hopefully not in the cockpit. :-)

    I used to travel extensively for work which sucked me into the miles game! I'm now full-time in one place and it's been a big change, but learning to travel without status and leveraging my CC churns has been a lot of fun. Many thanks for MP and FT for the help! ;) I've been to 5 continents (most of which were on miles) and love to travel! Next trip - Spain in May - Biz class using AA miles. Still working out the hotels, but I will be using Marriott and SPG points.
