Getting ready for the SMD4, and getting ready to help the Kiva Lending Team. Maybe i should put them in touch with each other? Brilliant! May 17, 2012 at 1:54 PM

presently on my way to Buenos Aires from LA. When I return in two days I leave for Nassau through Miami. I finally figured out a way to get the executive platinum status in time, although it comes at a cost of $3000.00 and eight flights in three days. thank goodness for the admirals club where I can still work compliments of their wifi.

regarding my last post, I am quite disappointed with American Airlines. Although I should have checked, they certainly should advise when selling tickets that a visa is needed. I am now having doubts about switching from Delta to American
    7. marcwint55
nothing on the American Airlines web site said anything about needing a visa to Inda, so when I tried to check in for tomorrows flight I couldn't. When I called to inquire what the problem was, I was told it was because a visa is needed. I called a visa service and was told that it takes at least a week to get a visa to India, so I will not be able to complete the challenge for the executive platinum status.

is anyone else on the mega-do having problems getting American Air to acknowledge the challenge? I've booked a round trip to India to qualify for the executive platinum challenge, and I can't get anyone at American to acknowledge that I am eligible.

all is now resolved with American and I am flying to India on Tuesday to qualify for the executive platinum status. Only one day there, so I will visit the Taj Mahal before returning.

for those who use opentable to book dining activities, there are restaurants that also participate in the dining rewards mileage programs. If you check you can double dip, and the certificates that you get from open table after accumulating points can also be used at those restaurants getting you miles for free dining.

If you need a cheap stay at Radisson for the 50k bonus, check with Matt at the Phoenix Radisson. I got a night for $52.00 plus tax.

      Hi Randy,

I was one of the (2) 10,000 point winners during the live web chat. What info do you need so I get the points? I did try to email you several times but no reply. Please advise.

      Thanks

Hi Randy. Just received this in an email from Richard Brown (WhyFly) about his MilePoint access:

      milepoint - Error
You have been banned for the following reason: Sorry, I actually did not mean to allow you back in. I don't think this will ever work..

Can you please check this out for him. His email is: rbrown@expresscat.net

      Thanks, David

It's been pretty clear from our members that the constant intrusions to positive dialogue from a small group of members has no place on milepoint.
