Generic Boeing demo seats, might certainly be the same model BD was using. So this has nothing to do with LH's next generation C product, just like Airbus used their own demo seats for 380 demo flights and route proving.
Any guessing whether LH will still put F on top or if they'll move it into the nose where everyone else has it. It would be nice for OS to have a new C seat as well.
The have no choice for the 747-400. The seats are to heavy to get 16 on the upper deck. so they make 8 with 8 beds. This will be the best First at LH.
I agree that it'll be a nice set up, I'm surprised they didn't put them in the nose for the reconfig, but that would cost more and taken more time and this is already going to take them long enough.
Why can't they put a part of the old/new C on the upper deck and reallocate the F to the nose section, like in the 748?
Spoke to some LH FAs recently who were very very excited about the 748... could not stop gushing about the new C product and the layout of the new F... I am glad they are happy because some C FAs said themselves that they are not proud about LH having such an old product...
Look forward to seeing the new C- this has been a long time coming- so hopefully it is as great as anticipated

Moving from 344 seats in the current aircraft to 362 in the new one while F moves from 16 to 8. Hmm...
