Looks like AA is rolling out some changes to their paid seating system: There doesn't seem to be any official word from AA on this yet. JonNYC has posted previously about these changes, of note are these posts here: LINK and LINK. You can view the whole thread here: LINK.
What preferred plus mean?? Only people who want to pay for it? Or will it be open for the elite users as well?
In working with a reservation today, I liked the "tabbing" between flight segments, each seg shown as a tab, all in a row across the top of the seatmap. IMHO, a nice little improvement over having to change pages each time you flipped to a different flight seg.
Kinda looked thru the other thread. Can't for the life of me figure out why 12C and 12G would be preferred on the example DD gives here. Anybody got a good reason for a lowly AA member who probably would not pay for a Preferred Plus Seat?
I agree ithe setup is an improvement. At least the members here not got into the pretty sllly (but typical) complaints about the colours etc etc
