    Who's to say one would keep it for the entire next year? AmEx is known for pro-rating their refunds so perhaps one could wait until the 15k points post and then call and get a pro-rated refund.

    Sorry I am not a mind reader , thought you were like "most" people and would keep the card , next time maybe put ur plan in with with ur success of milking a card -- oh i see u promote the hustle blog or are the hustle blog -- now i get it!

    If one was offered, say 20,000 MR for keeping their Platinum card open, yet cancelled it after those 20,000 points posted would AMEX remove those from one's account?

    Ditto that. In my experience, Amex Plat will prorate a fee.
