AMR may be closer to Eagle spinoff

It has been talked about in other forums, but my search didn't yield any results...
Another few articles were posted recently that suggests AMR is close to spinning off its Eagle unit:

Wonder where Dan Garton will end up when he is done spinning off Eagle.

Seems like a step down, considering his previous positions. I know that CEO is a higher position, but it is in a much smaller company.
