Well happy 2012 all... you will likely have noted that your Aeroplan status balance is likely showing 0 status miles and 0 segments (unless of course you chose status miles in your package or you have already flown in 2012 ) Our race for status starts again ... for me I will be having a number of trips in the first 8 weeks which will not get me status yet but will get me a good part of the way there. So with that I wish you all a good 2012 travel year and may the status race being!
Never had any status with AC... Don't fly for work... and can only do so many leisure trips a year! That being said, my goal for 2012 is to travel ONLY premium when I do travel! That way, I still get the luxuries you SEs get... Except I pay for them! Boo! LOL!
Oh... I forgot to wish all of you a Happy, and awesome 2012! Here's to a year of great life and travel experiences... Lots of great food, fun times, and fabulous wine!
Oooh... I am planning a trip to NYC in Spring to visit my girlfriend (who visited me over the Christmas holidays, and I had to put her up in a hotel since we were all SO sick! So mortifying!)... Anyhow, still deciding whether to fly or to drive... Let me know how the drive is, GHT!
Are you driving also? If you have time, give me a shout for a drink or coffee!!! I offered g_h_t but never seem to be in YYZ when he has a DO or in NYC when he visits!
If I wasn't the 'NJ shopping chauffeur for my two ladies' and have a deep craving for Philly Cheesesteak in Philadelphia.......... i'd fly and take up the 50% promo before Jan 6
I will definitely give you a shout for a drink when I hop over to NYC... Now another reason to go there!
well New York has some of the best deli's -- come to Katz! BTW, hopefully your ladies have become VIP members to Woodbury Commons and other Premium outlet malls in NJ -- gives a nice discount coupon book! My sister found it very useful when I took her on a 12 hour shopping trip!
I've been there twice, and dare not go again... Both times I went, I spent WAY too much! It's an EVIL place! Muahahahahaha! LOL!
LOL! I was the chauffeur and probably ended up easily spending a G! My sister who intended to do some damage on her credit card made sure of that intent! The funny thing was the last thing she bought was a set of luggage, which she should have bought in the beginning to put all her stuff. You could separate the amateur shoppers from the pros --- the pros brought their wheelie checkin baggage (minimum 26"er) to carry all their newly purchased loot!
