Earlier today I was sent a PM by a Brand Representative asking, "if I had their credit card and If I wanted to trade Membership Rewards points for X Miles?"

I love that we have brand representatives, but not sure if I like the idea of them contacting me to hock their products/services without my consent or initial contact.

What is MilePoints official T&Cs on this?

And how do we know they are actually brand representative and not scam?

We have three official representatives on milepoint: Hyatt, SPG and UA.
Our official rep program details are here:

If outside of these three or even within these three, I'd love to be included in the conversation (winky, winky).

Got it all resolved. Actually not a brand representative, just a member who uses a brand in their user name. looking into it now. Thanks.

Thanks. It just seemed "fishy" and as I said to Randy, I know better than to accept an offer, I just dont want someone else to fall pray to a scam. It's better to be safe than sorry.

Randy - Thanks for following up!:)

We also have the Head of Social Media from SAS active in the Eurobonus forum or he is perhaps not official?
