I'm posting alot more than I do on other sites. I like MilePoint because it is friendly, nimble and a very nice community. Milepoint is in beta mode (being new) and I love this site! Look for great things to come!!

Love MilePoint, in almost 4 years on Flyertalk only posted 300 posts or so in total, now just with a couple of weeks here on MP, already over 50 posts.

Here's to many many more :)

Just because I have spent most of today here, reading, posting, reading, posting, reading, posting ... does not mean I am addicted ... now if you excuse me I must get back to reading and posting!

as with anything else new you spend more time than you should on it... I know I do

but I realize there will be time where I won't be able to spend much time here, so better get the addiction out of the way now, than suffer from it later ;)

I cannot believe you have the time to put commas between all the reading and posting! I use my "comma time" to update the screen ;)

I'm also hoping my addiction calms down eventually! I do not have time for this level of obsession for the next two days! Of course, once you get some negative reinforcement hopefully that will help me keep away for more than an hour at a time!

I am a cat - I have four paws; I put them to good use! (note the use of the semi-colon? That and the question mark was done by my back left foot!)

I am going to make sure that I am out of reach of furballs then :) ... and stay relatively safe (note the use of the ellipsis lol).

I've spent the last hour and a half here and I only found the site an hour and a half ago.

In some ways yes - simply because there is so much happening here in barely over a week! [IMG]

Less than a week here and still discovering something completely new almost every hour. Plus, it is exciting to be in on something from the foundation/ground-floor and be helping in its further construction!

Same experience here. I feel like I stumbled onto something "big," and I can't stop, haha.

I am finding MilePoint very addictive and I hope the other site dies out pretty soon

And everytime I stop and come back, I feel like I missed out on alot! MUCH more active here that that other site. Hope to keep it up.

There is room for both. There are millions of active members of frequent flier programs, and only 300k on the other site. Both sites can thrive and fill different needs.

I was away from my computer for the entire weekend and I feel so out of the loop, like I'm in an alternate reality or something.

Peaceful co-existence. Seriously though, there will be good information posted on both sites. Partake and share to your likes.

There is still time to catch up! But what was more important than MP? [IMG]

Oh she does:) She really came to apprecate my US Gold status when we were flying home for Christmas from PVD and there was actualy a long line at security. She started to panic that we wouldn't make out flight (because we live so close I leave our house an hour b4 our flight). I said not to worry, walked over to the priority security lane (open to all stats members of airlines that fly out of PVD and we walked to the front of the security line. Once we got through she went to me and was like "ok, i now get it, i like us flying with status." And even more recently we were flying DL from BOS-SLC (only cause they have a direct flight that fits my schedule nicely) and were flying with no status, no chance of upgrades, and no way to bypass long security lines...we flew all of 2010 with status and this was the first time she was flying in a year where we didn't have status and she missed the gold. Were flying so much together this year that she might get status along with me.

I couldn't agree more. There is plenty of room on the Internet for FT, MP and a host of other FF sites.
