BA announces new accumulation rate and tier bonus on JAL flights from Oct 1 2012

There are two stages of the changes. First stage effective on Oct 1 2012 and the second one on Jan 1 2013.

You will earn at least 50% miles on discounted economy class now instead of 25% before. 100% tier bonus for Gold and Silver, 25% for Bronze

So it looks like the ones to watch out for, from 1 January 2013, are:-

• W (premium economy) going from 110% to 100% (before taking into account the new tier bonus);
• E (premium economy) going from 110% to 70% (ditto re tier bonus); and
• B and H (economy) going from 100% to 70% (ditto re tier bonus).
