BA marks 85 years of serving inflight meals SOURCE: http://www.businesstraveller.com/news/ba-marks-85-years-of-serving-inflight-meals 85 years of in-flight meals, let's hope that BA and the others are not back-tracking, but moving forward with great food for all passengers who love to fly! We do!
I was wondering that, too. a drink made by boiling pieces of lean beef: often given to invalids to stimulate the appetite http://www.thefreedictionary.com/beef tea So what's BA serving nowadays on the LHR-CDG route?
Fluid beef... Delicious http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bovril Probably ensures that no French pax ever fly on BA on that route.
No great loss then. Depends in which cabin class you're in. ET will get drink and snack...CE get something a bit more substantial. Neither class get served beef tea or Bovril..
Bovril accompanied by a greasy Scotch pie is rather delicious....and is traditional fare at a football match in Scotland. Only when mixed with ten pints of beer and a few Vodkas does it become vomit inducing.
