Any opinions on the best pair of seats in C on the 767-300s? I've flown in 8AB and don't mind the rear facing seats, but are there any seats that are better than the rest?
Stay out of the seats next to the galley (row 9?). Not only is the light bothersome (expected), but the galley cart chiller produces a significant amount of noise and hot air. The exhaust is right next to your seat.
Besides the very last row next to the galley, there's really not a bad seat on this aircraft. As a couple, I think it comes down to whether you want a window or aisle access. Personnally, I like row 7, rear facing, just behind first class.
I like facing backward and doing a superman. ( Stick your hands out during take off). Be sure to make sure the magazine rack is locked.

I had 6H on my flight last night, and it was good (even though you're last for the dinner service). I'm glad I switched out of row 10 next to the galley - that really did look quite bad. Side note: This was my first flight on pmUA internationally, and I have to say that I was not very impressed with the seat vs. the pmCO C seats. There was absolutely no storage space, and I felt like I was laying on top of my neighbor in 6C. All in all, better than coach, which is what I would have had to endure if I wanted the nonstop on the 764. Rant over. theBOAT
Having flown both the new 764 configuration (EWR-MUC) and the 763 (ORD-CDG), the seat on the 763 leaves a lot to be desired. I flew in the middle "captain's seat" (D) on the 764 and liked it, though it is a little odd when sleeping to have people walking by you on both sides. I also found the footwell on the 763 to feel smaller / more restrictive. If the 763 seat a couple of little cubby areas where I could put my laptop or phone, I'd be happier.
How about in Economy Plus? SeatGuru suggests 20AB/JK but on the United seat map it says they have limited recline.
Is 20 the 2nd set in the exit row? 19 is the first? IME, 19 has limited recline, but 20 does not. But 19 allows you to use the bulkhead and keep your feet up (which some might object to, but might be more comfortable).
Yes you're correct. 19 is the bulkhead and has limited recline according to both seat maps. So 20 looks to be okay. Thanks.
The bulkhead seats do not have limited recline unless they are the first exit row. That notation is probably tied to the pricing of the E+ buyup as it is less than the "full" E+ cost.
I prefer the backwards facing seats: the plane tends to point a bit up during travel, which, before I flew UA, I never noticed. However on my last TATL flight, in a "normal" facing seat, I noticed that I was much more comfortable if I raised my head rest a bit to compensate for the downward slope.
