Boarding Music is back :)

Anyone noticed the sweet sound of boarding/arrival music is back?

In fact it is accompanied by a 'Welcome Onboard' picture (of course with a pretty SQ Girl) on all the IFE screens.

Which music is it?

I noticed a few songs + the SIA tune which one could hear on the Across the World with the SIA Girl ad.

They're going to run the Singapore Girl image down... Tick-tock-tick, SQ... Need to think of a new strategy...

Why going down?

Its their marketing strategy, and frankly, passengers don't seem to care for that anymore with the declining services across all levels..

Declining service? You need to fly MORE!

Boarding music was on on SQ950 last week. No pretty Singapore Girl on the IFE though.

On SQ826 yesterday, no boarding music or pretty Singapore Girl on IFE at all.

Service was great on both flights though

Yup, finally saw the Welcome Aboard message on SQ831 today. Although it appeared (along with the boarding music playing) when pax were deplaning and none during the actual boarding

Is it only on the 'new' IFE system? My previous 2 flights that had no Welcome Aboard message were on older 772s with the old IFE system.
