MSNBC Travel Kit: Break a sweat at the top hotel gyms

As someone who works out fairly regularly, I have a keen appreciation for a good gym at a hotel...although some of these are definitely out of my range! I also like to take advantage of local areas to run and see new places.
    :)
The list includes properties in Thailand, Germany, Japan, and numerous US cities.

You mean there is more to hotel gyms than an all-in-one and a single treadmill that's always taken? These hotels are a bit out of my league, but it's not too much to ask a discount hotel to install a rock climbing wall... right?

But would you climb a wall to get to a good cocktail bar?

    That's the question.

Well....that and climbing back down again after happy hour.

Depending how steep the climb is and how potent the cocktails are! A good question indeed! Deserves exploration!:)

    Created and purchased.

And I'd climb a wall to get there... as long as there was a slide to get down at the end.
