Is this the lounge that JAL normally uses in HKG for (?) business class passengers or elites? Or is it some other contract lounge?

It`s not half as good as the alternatives ...CX or QF lounges etc.

I prefer that over CX's. The JAL exclusive area is much more relaxing than the packed CX lounge

It's like a war zone out there and noise goes into there as well, not to mention the limited food options.

CX lounge rocks for food offering and when you compare the JAL Contracted lounge with QF lounge, QF lounge is much more quiet if that's what you need

Yes QF is my top choice at HKG followed by JAL's exclusive area at the Travelers' Lounge with was quite quiet when I was there.
