Already have a Capital One card that I got for the Zero international fees a few years back. But it does say I can still get the 100,000 if I upgrade my card to the Venture.....just no 10,000 bonus. I can deal with that

Just wanted to chime in that there is at least one other redemption of these that is much higher than the $1100 in travel reimbursement. They have 'Multi-night stay' gift cards (its listed under Events & Experiences on their award site) for Fairmont, Raffles, Hyatt, and Ritz Carlton that require 51,250 points. If you look at the fine print they are issued for $900 so with your 110k points you could get $1800 worth of hotel stays. The Fairmont gift card is also stackable with their F&F rate. Obviously not for everyone but certainly something to consider.

Also, I can confirm that coins work with this card. I have had this card for years going all the back to college and my pre FF days. I now only use it abroad for the no foreign transaction fee but recently topped off my account to the 51.25k using multiple coin orders.

Need to be logged in to view their rewards site as far as I can tell.

I have a no hassle rewards card, so I logged and am able to see it. But the for NHR, it costs 180K points!

For your venture, are giftcards 10,000 points = $100?

Yes, 10,000 = $100 for my Venture. Are the no hassle rewards on a different scale?

It doesn;t make sense that we can only show one statement to show earnings of 100,000 miles from an awards card. Who charges $100,000 per month. I am giving them the benefit of the doubt and assuming they want to see an account with total active miles... How can we show them which way we;ve earned our miles. I must;ve earned well over 500,000 miles with credit card spend/ signups over the last few years. How am I supposed to show where all of my miles came from in one statement!

Where are you seeing this? I don't think this is correct.

This is pretty good deal. But I'm not going to apply because I'm quite sure by now there are already 10K people ahead of me. I don't want to risk 3 pulls and then find out in 3 months that I'm not eligible.

Just got "upgraded" from my current Capitol One card and I qualify got the 100,000. At 100k per person this is going to go fast

Nah, same thing. 1100 potential in gift cards aint to shabby either.

When I spoke to the rep on the phone and explained that credit cards do not show the total mileage balance I was told a screen print of my airline mileage account would suffice

    Astrophy....it is under the FAQS...
Yes! New Venture cardholders who spend $1,000 in the first 3 months will automatically receive the one-time bonus, in addition to the matched miles. Existing customers who upgrade to Venture are not eligible for the 10,000 bonus miles. We ARE eligible for the 100,000 match though!

I never would have considered this card if not for the bonus... but I've applied this morning, like just about everyone else here! Will ber interesting to see how this plays out.

This also shows...once again...the value of MP...we can provide and exchange information, and share our experiences as we try to actually get these miles from Capital One. That may be the hardest part!

They say they've capped the matching program at "one billion miles." Wonder how that is going to work, there is little transparency in that for us, the applicants.

[IMG] FYI...I hit this shot into the front left bunker, exploded out to to about 8 feet...and made the birdie putt! It's the Dunkeld course in central Scotland...

I have a copy of an online chat with a reader from last night where it is clearly stated that the match is not just on credit card miles but all miles in an account. I'm not going to send it out a hunddred times but when somebdoy tells me how to get it on MP, I'll try to follow the directions and do so
