Hi Everyone, Some of you saw my note on the Lounge thread about the changes to the pre-arrival snack catering on TATL flights this past Saturday. The changed the west bound pre-arrival snack from the reasonably edible pizza to a nasty 3-cheese calzone ... three bites and I gave up. It was served with the same generic ice cream they've had for a while. FT Discussion Even the FA on my flight said to send in a complaint when they realized I did not (and wouldn't) eat it. I sent the complaint in yesterday and just received an email back from DL...pretty timely. They gave me 7,500 miles for this...I just hope they re-evaluate this change. robin
I sincerely hope you put on your best "Brazilian Futbol Announcer Voice" and yelled "Goooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooal!"
Exactly. Hence the need for celebration! I fully expect a synchronized celebration sequence, complete with someone doing the cabbage patch, prior to 0800 tomorrow.
I always try to send in a compliment when it's warranted and complaints as appropriate. People like to complain, which I find seems to be human nature in many cases, but are not always willing to provide feedback or constructive criticism. In this case, I felt that DL switched from something that was okay to something that was pretty nasty.
it's right to let them know your opinion, but very ridiculous that they gave you 7500 miles simply because you didn't like what was served. if you had requested a special meal prior to travel and not received it, that's different on second thought, maybe I should write in and complain about ESPN showing a high school basketball game on my flight to LAS last month, since that was a channel that was avilable to me on the IFE
I agree it seems a bit silly. I did not write in with the expectation of miles...just to point out a change I do not like..
Well, as long as they did not suggest that you would eat a 'ham sandwich'... ah, Glen? *sarcasm* I am p!$$Ed as I got what delta defines as 'an apology' email today...
