Club Lounge photos and reviews

I thought it would be interesting to have a thread dedicated to the club lounges at different ICs/CPs. Post photos if you've got them, and any other info to share!

Of course, I'll start then

We were at Frankfurt in the fall of 2010. They had a really nice lounge, with excellent food on offer.

This particular evening, the two hot dishes on offer were spatzle with bacon (YUM) and beef steak in a mushroom sauce. Definitely enough food on offer to cover dinner if that was what you wanted to do!

I have a few shots from the Le Grand. None of the food spread setup, unfortunately.

We camped out on the couch in the back corner during our stay. It was a great little nook with privacy. Love the champagne and caviar -- very civilized!

This shot comprises most of the lounge -- there are 3 other tables, and a couple of seats nearer to the entrance. But as you can see, it's small and doesn't hold a lot of people.

San Francisco InterContinental

I love this hotel, but I am biased, as it's "local" for me. I go there often and they treat me well.

Luis, who works the lounge, is one of my favorite IC staff members of all time. He is excellent at his job.

One downside to this lounge is that it does get quite warm in the afternoons when the sun is shining, due to all the windows. It's never cool enough for my liking.



They offer a lunchtime soup option, which is different than a lot of others.

It was very, very tasty!

I really love this club lounge. There are a lot of little nooks where you can hide if you want

Small space that was well kept. The staff couldn't do enough to help us.

Snacks on offer all day:


Outdoor seating area. Unfortunately it was just too hot (or raining) for us to be out there enjoying tea or drinks...

ANA InterContinental, Tokyo

Certainly one of the largest lounges! All sorts of different seating areas. Food was rotated even within one evening, so once one type of canape was gone, they'd bring out a different one to replace it. French champagne!

Bali

I am surprised I do not have more photos of this lounge. Guess we were too busy eating and drinking. It was one of my absolute favorites, service was impeccable. We never meant to, but there was so much varied food on offer that we were often too stuffed for proper dinner after cocktail hour.

Terrific idea for a thread! And super photos! I'm just amazed that you managed to get any of the ANA Tokyo with no people in it?!

Am I the only one who takes photos of the lounges? No one else has posted!

Re: Tokyo ANA, we carry our camera all the time, and I think the photos without (many) people were taken mid-day, between food setups, so not much to be in there for!

Here are a few from the IC Hong Kong. (Can't find the food ones for the life of me. )

The view from the lounge (you look over the restaurant below so it's not really a great or unobstructed view).


The lounge/TV area was hardly used except my kids playing video games.

I'll look for what pictures I do have, but it's tough to get pictures without other guests inside (let alone take the camera out of my pocket!) as just like other guests, when there's not much reason to be in the lounge, neither am I!

Excellent photos. So tempting for me to use the PC points to upgrade to Ambassdor membership even though I seldom stay at ICs. Any photos of CP club lounges?

No photos of CP clubs from me, sorry. But -- I would say it's not worth it to upgrade to Amb if you don't stay at ICs, and instead, if you have occasion to do so, book a club room to insure you get club access
