I am new to marriott....i am used to SPG up until now I want to make a 4 day award stay at carlton hotel in manhattan for a wedding weekend. My wife has half the points and i have half. we are lowly silvers whats the best way about getting the award? would marriott combine it into one award for us for the 4 nights or would we have to book 2+2 nights separately and hopefully have them not change the room on us half way through the stay. if by chance i get a phone rep to get me put on the "free platinum challange" that i have heard about, would that score us upgrades on the award?
Marriott Rewards can transfer the points from one account to another. Just call them and they will fax you a form that both of you have to sign and fax back to them.
