Arshot needs help now! He has under two hours to get over $1400 still
He has a grocery store, and is a disabled vet in Armenia.
Please help him get funded if you can. Thanks

Betty, a very active member of LLL, MP and FofBH posted a request for help on a couple of loans in Mexico.

They are short repayment terms - 8 and 9 mo and are expiring very soon. 2 Milepointers on them, but will need a lot more to get them funded!

    from Betty:
Cuatro Fantasticos Group in Michoacan still need $6,300 and their loan has two days to go before it expires. The lead borrower is a man (which may be why it's been slow to fund -- women-led groups fund faster) who runs a grocery store and also works as a taxi driver; the other borrowers in the group sell chickens, vegetables and drinks.

The other group is Rancho Caporal in Fresno Nichi, led by a fabulous 71 year old woman who I reckon probably keeps them all in order! She has a grocery store, one of the others sells used car parts and the other two are farmers. The Older Borrowers team chose this group for their team loan this month, but they're not a big enough team to fund it on their own so it would be nice to help them out. It's got 4 days and $5,300 to go.

This is not a desperate call for help, but rather just want to highlight a loan that you might find interesting before it gets hidden.

15 month group loan to Paraguay to drill a new water well. Good MFi with a 0% default rate.

thank you, I joined with you on the loan, hopefully this big loan will get funded early and not end up with a mad rush on June 16th.

Having worked in Chad getting clean water to villages, this is a very worthy loan.

This loan to Kodjovi will help him with his metal working business. I chose this loan specifically because it is a home business where he has 4-employees. Not only is Kodjovi helping to improve his life, but the life of four other families through employment... which I think is pretty cool.

    Thanks!!!

I just lent to 3 of them, but they are looking dire with very few (if any) lenders on them. A lot of these expiring loans are coming to the last few days with no lenders and this trend is increasing. I am glad to see that some of them, however, are still getting funded with the diligence of the LLL, FofBH, NYC and MP teams.

If they get a few lends and make it up the popularity sort they typically will get funded, most of them are shorter terms, and Milango has the lowest delinquency rate any MFI in Kenya that are posting on kiva.
I lent to Julius and will keep watch on them as the day goes on.

    Hi all,
Posted over in the main discussion thread, mistakently, so forgive the duplication, but I'm wondering if anyone can help keep Alexander's loan (http://www.kiva.org/lend/417019) from expiring? He's a little over half way funded, but needs add'l help to make his goal and be able to add stock/supplies for his beauty salon in the Philippines. Thanks for considering.

Sorry; I've already loaned my max for the month. Was just fulfilling Randy's request in looking for loans for the KLT Mutual Fund.

And for the record, not directed at you. Many here like 1) group loans, 2) to women, and 3) in Lebanon.

I like repeat loans. One of my repeats is Martina. She paid off her first loan and now is 11 hours from expiry on her second. http://www.kiva.org/lend/417452

Your help is still needed. Right now I am still the only MilePoint lender on either.
