Going forward, I'll keep this thread updated with all of our most up to date promotions. At the moment, these are the promotions we are offering: Delta: 15% off a 24 hour pass when you buy before you fly All airlines: 14% off first month of a Gogo Unlimited pass
Update 4/26: Through Delta, we are now offering $10 off your first month of a Gogo Unlimited pass. This brings your first month down to just $24.95. The pass is valid on all Gogo equipped flights.
I can't go into too much detail with regards to upcoming promotions, but we run a variety of things throughout the year, so the best way to know about them it to keep an eye on this forum and our site. Sorry for the non-answer, but things like this depend on so many factors, that we can't promise anything too far in advance.
Are you still offering the "six-packs" (six sessions on AA flights) for $49.99? Given AA's uneven Gogo installed base, I think that this plan makes sense for many fliers.
We actually just changed our pricing -- the six pack has now been replaced by a more affordable 30 day option for a single airline ($29.95) or a 30 day pass for all airlines ($39.95). We still sell our traditional unlimited (subscription) pass for $34.95. While the six pack was a great option, we were not able to provide 24 hour access off a code on some airlines (based off their policies), so the 30 day pass has replaced it. All our pricing options are available here.
There is another thread on MilePoint in which one of our members posted that a Delta FA announced that GoGo will be free in August, courtesy of Diet Coke. Can you confirm this?
Sorry for the delay on posting here! We do indeed have a promotion at the moment on Delta with sponsored access, compliments of Diet Coke. This is one of several promotions you'll see when you visit our inflight portal in August. This initial promo is "while supplies last". I'll try and keep you updated when we kick off the next promo! Thanks as always for supporting Gogo! *-)-
I use my IPass account to access Gogo. In the past "free" promotions I've been blocked out because of to many connections. Are your roaming partners (IPass) still lumped in with the "free" people? It was very frustrating trying to work and competing with people browsing TMZ!!!
I'm going to have to ask our roaming experts for the answer to this. I know it was an issue in the past, but I'm pretty sure we've fixed it. I'll get back to you with the answer.
Gogo We are sorry to say that the promotional code DIETCOKEGOGO has expired. Keep an eye out for upcoming offers this month!^SMC Well that didn't last long.
That's an understatement... least they could have done is mention that it would be limited numbers or for the first week of August or something. I guess they didn't anticipate the demand... what other reason would there be for running a promo "during the month of August" and kill it off after only a few days?
http://milepoint.com/forums/threads/current-gogo-inflight-promotions.9427/#post-672250 We really did not make a secret out of this initial promo being limited.
Today we kick off a new promo on Delta, courtesy of Diet Coke. Between now and Sunday August 21, you can get 30 minutes of free Gogo access on your flight. Limited to one free session per flight. Enjoy!
So sorry for the delay in responding to that -- I have confirmed that you will not be blocked. Your roaming account is treated like a full Gogo unlimited user. Does this help answer your question? Thanks!
I'll be travelling from August 29 till September 7th!! will be there any promo with AA or AS this period? Thanks!!!
Free Gogo session with AA Entertainment purchase | milepoint (Aug 15 - Sept 15, 2011) -- The code for a free session will be emailed to you, so it's not good for the flight on which you earn it.
