We can't have a Delta Lounge thread without some milepost awards .... ande777emt (1) first non-zero digit hdawg (2) first even digit, first & only even prime number Cholula (3) first odd prime number next minor milepost: 4, 1st square number next major milepost: 1,000 (should get there in a couple hours)
It's going to be a bit harder here, because the milepost numbering isn't obvious from the thread display.
There are quite a few things that are technically different here versus "there". Some I like better and some I am not too certain about yet. But the site is still in Beta and is a work in progress so I'm going to give it the time required to get used to it and to learn the new features.
I see the milepost #'s -- they are faintly grayed by the "Reply" links. We have everything needed to restart The Lounge except Abby.
I figure As the site is a work in progress I think we'll see it move forward and adapt to the suggestions of the initial members of mile point.
That was my fault. I should have started that thread here in the Delta Forum. Methinks the lady doth protest too much.
How did you manage to get the cubed sign? I think you automatically get it an hour or so after you get 30 status points.
People have to like you; or rather, they have to like your posts. I believe you need 25 status points, and since we don't like you, you only have 15 points. It's because I'm no square. But you can copy and paste it into your sig, and people will think you're a genius. OK, maybe it used to be 25 until IDD joined, and then we made it 30. Once he gets to 28 points, we'll raise it to 35. We're from the Catch 22 school of promotions.
That's what I just told you to do. You're good at following directions. BTW, I just noticed in another thread, Tom911 and Ozstamps are both listed as original members with 25 points each, so maybe it was only temporarily raised to 30 in your case.
We can have the best of both worlds. But that does raise a question: In which of the two threads is it proper to make fun of Cholula?
Hi, I enjoyed meeting lots of you at the Road Warrior Do's in Atlanta. Hope you're all keeping warm and cosy.
