So all of those 717s with the ugly AirTran livery will be repainted as widget tails. If the pilots accept the contract. Kind of ironic that Delta will have aircraft that originated with AirTran, just as years ago AirTran had DC-9s that originated with Delta (via ValuJet).
I have returned to the states... And It appears that JFK is almost as chaotic as Juba, with exception for the war against Sudan Sent from my iPhone using milepoint
I think AF likes to figure out new ways of cramming pax into a given space Sent from my iPhone using milepoint
I love how here, people know and discuss the equipment that flies to RUN, while probably 99% of Americans couldn't place Reunion on a map.
Thanks mersk862 - that's very handy to know Is JFK-BOS/DCA/ORD included as well? Not sure if those are considered Shuttle flights, but I fly through JFK more frequently than LGA.
merks862 and The Boat, along with any other kettle slayers may find this amusing... http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/travelbuzz/1348697-can-we-please-stop-using-term-kettles.html
Time to get ready for my journey tomorrow ... ATL-JFK-FCO-LIN. Starting the day off by trying to SDC on an earlier JFK flight to create some more lounge time in JFK. Then it's off to try the new AZ A330 with their premium economy. GenevaFlyer
I was wondering about that routing until you mentioned the premium economy on the new A330. Otherwise there'd not be much reason to route over both JFK and FCO.
Well, there is always the silly reason called segment and miles accumulation, but yes, premium economy is the driving factor indeed.
Hi All, I've posted in the EC thread, but if you've got domestic segments in Y, EC is now showing for domestic flights...goes into effect on June 7th!
