DID YOU RECEIVE USAIR MC 15K bonus?

just looking for some feedback on the time between receiving the card and when/how you received your 15k bonus opportunity.

I was targeted for a 15k bonus maybe 2.5 months after getting my card

Got the card in October, got the bonus offer for Jan/Feb/Mar.

Card Nov. 29th, one purchase, and bonus offer arrived by Jan. 15th. 1.5 months.

Got my card March 2012 and offer in May. Points posted in November. Praying for another. Loved that offer.

My wife and myself got the card end of November and got the offer this week. This is the 2nd one this year we have received. We got one for our first cards earlier in 2012 as well.

Thanks for the feedback everybody....I should have mentioned this, but how did the offer arrive?

I got my card in October. Received bonus offer late October for months of Nov/Dec/Jan. Waiting now on confirmation that I met the requirements and will receive the points.

I don't think there will be any confirmation. One day the points will post.

I'm just looking for confirmation through a secure message to let me know I spent the necessary $750/month. I always like to have proof in case they later try to say I didn't meet the requirements.

I trusted that the statements would suffice as proof.

Roughly 2 months (statement cycle) after the 3rd month of spend is met. I remembered seeing the 15000 (pending) on the main page after you login to your cc account.

Almost 6 months after we got the card for spouse and me to get the 15K offer. Both got email, I also got postcard.

2 cards and 2 15k offers for me. Both arrived via snail and e-mail

I got the 15000 mile offer last July via email for $750 spend in Aug, Sept, Oct. Hit the spend, no bonus by Jan 1st. Called, and they said they had no record of the offer for me. They gave me a number to fax a copy of my email in (who uses a fax these days?). I finally got around to it today, hoping to hear something out of it. I'll try to call tomorrow to see if they got the email and if they can post the miles.

In case you anyone needs it, the fax number they gave me for the Customer Care Correspondent is 866-823-8178. I'll try to reply here once I get another update.

Been over 8 weeks for both of us. Sent message and was told it's "8 weeks after the statement closes" (even though that is after the official promotion should have ended). Email also simply says they will be posted "in February". Still waiting...

Is there any criteria that seems to help get these offers - use the card a lot, never use it? I've had one since 2011 and never receive these offers.

Maybe they didn't have that promo back in 2011? I didn't have a ton of spend on my card last year and got it, presumably to encourage more spend.

I had only used my card one time for $7 in the first two months with it when I got my offer.

Just one data point - I think I may have gotten the offer in my email before I had even activated my card. For some reason I had let it sit for a while before activating it (probably knowing I just had to make one purchase to get my signup 40k).

Just as a follow up. Received a letter on Friday stating that I needed to call in as they needed more information. I talked to a CSR who started a case, and told me the points should post in 7-10 days, but if they don't I should call back. I have a feeling I'll have to call back. A lot of work, but worth it assuming I get the points in the end.

I'll report back with more updates, hopefully next time it'll be that the miles have posted.

I got an email and postcard with the 15k offer for spending $750 in Oct/Nov/Dec. My points posted a week or two ago.

I had an offer that said $750 in Nov/Dec/Jan for 15K. Naturally, I got through those spending reqs by the 2nd of each month, but didn't get the points in February. Turns out that because I didn't make a charge on my February statement, a statement didn't actually post, so I have to wait until March.

So as a tip, make a small charge on the statement after you finish the $750 each month, that way the points post sooner.

Just got the offer in the mail today. 15k miles with 750 spend. Signed up for card in december. received today
