NBC Today: Disney World asks girl, 15, to change out of Tinker Bell costume

Wow...I did not know Disney had such a policy...wouldn't it be free advertising? ;) One of my nieces goes to Disneyland all the time - I know they do "Dapper Day" and some other dress up days...

If I was 15, I wouldn't wanna be wearing a Tinker Bell costume. Just sayin'!

We just completed a Disneyland trip with 2 small girls, and were discussing this. We decided that the policy was probably in effect in order to prevent creepy people dressing up as characters and getting kids to talk with (or worse, follow) them for whatever creepy purposes they might have in mind.
