Really would like the SPG BIZ card but I already have the following Experian Inquiry: All PERSONAL cards within last year- Chase 7/14/12 B of A 7/12/12 Amex Hilton – 6/15/12 Chase 5/13/12 Chase 11/13/11 Should I wait or do you think I have a good chance of approval? Credit score of 779 on Experian Or would AMEX check Tranunion if i freeze Experian? Had I known about the 30k SPG AMEX Biz card will be back, I would have held back on my Recent applications.
Where they pull depends on your state, but I'm guessing you already did that research. I think you have a good shot with Amex. Just be ready to describe your business, if needed. I would also wait until a bit closer to the 9/4 cut-off to give some more space between apps. Good luck!
One data point: I was approved for the biz SPG card today (applied 2 days ago) with the following Experian pulls Chase 4/4/12 BofA 3/1/12 Amex 12/4/11 Chase 7/14/11 Penfed 6/22/11 Cap One 3/9/11 Amex 1/25/11 Chase 1/25/11
Just want to update....applied online on August 15, 2012, received " in progress" for application status....Impatient me can't wait so called up within 5 minutes....CSR said Application Approved!
Only $3k CL, the lowest I have ever received. I was hoping to use my AMEX to pay for Property tax but the tax is $3500, just above the CL.
