I'm renting a car in PDX from Aug 22 @ 8:00 PM and returning it on Aug 25.My original rental was to be returned around 12:30 PM. I'm now returning it at 6:30 AM. Will I be charged for an early return, and if so, how much?
IME, once you've crested into owing for a full day, there's no penalty for returning it early. (You'd be owed no credit, so the contract terms will have been fulfilled.) Anyone have a different experience?
What days of the week are involved? Is the reservation for weekend days, weekday days, or (unlikely because the rental period is so short) a weekly rate? Have you tried to find the T&C for your rate or details on this in your contract?
