This hit just in time; I don't usually stay in Sheratons, but have a couple of stays coming up, and since they are work related, was able to book Club rooms. I never turn my nose up at bonus points!

I just contacted an SPG customer rep via the online chat service, regarding my club stay back in February, and she said that only club stays under the rate plan DAILYFS or SICLUB qualify for the 1,000 bonus points, which really is disappointing, because my impression was ALL club stays. And I also called in to SPG prior to my stay in February, and the SPG customer rep on the phone said I will be eligible for the bonus, which added to more disappointment.

Anyhow, I have another 1 club stay within the promotion period, which I booked because of the promotion, and now I am told it does not qualify for this bonus promotion.

Had I known that I will not be qualified for the bonus points, I would have been more prudent in my reservation.

Hope others have better luck than me in this.

There was a similar promotion earlier this year. The Club/Lounge fare was considerably higher at all the Sheratons I looked at, making the extra points not a very good value.

Remember if you're SPG Platinum you would get Lounge/Club access anyway,
