This is a pretty good find.... I did not think it was possible to earn miles being redirected to Amazon.

This is SPECTACULAR -- no other rewards program (that I'm aware of) offers any type of bonus through Amazon.

Even more exciting, initial Amazon purchases through the HA mall are beginning to credit (at least mine have begun).

    You're right -- I'm surprised how fast they're posting! Definitely a(nother) bonus!

Okay...it looks like Hawaiian has caught on to the fact that they're exclusive (since US Airways dropped Amazon) and they've lowered the redemption rate to a half mile for every $1 spent. Did I miss a memo? Maybe if we're lucky, it's just for the holiday? Anyone know when this switched over?

Why don't you do something unique....like award miles to people who travel on your airline.

They are doing something unique (now)... no other airline is awarding miles to people who shop at Amazon :)

Yeah, and I get that. Very innovative blah, blah, blah. Here's the thing: They have turned this into an S&H Green Stamps type reward program and have gotten away from being a FF Flyer program. They have horrid customer service, and an untrained, stressed out staff running their interisland operation. I mightily object to that. They, along with GO! have made the interisland experience a nightmare. There is no Aloha, only the strategy to extract every buck of revenue out of the people that come to Hawaii to visit and then will probably never return. I don't really care about myself, I can deal with it (Mokulele anyone?).

They have taken the Hawaii magic out, and replaced it with inflexible and unreasonable and misleading fee structures. SHAME ON THEM!!

Does anyone have a contact email for Hawaiian Miles emarket. The Hawaiian website said to call Hawaiian miles support who weren't very helpful at all

No contact emails here...other than the normal email address for customer service. I am trying to track down missing orders from Amazon made in December. I have placed a bunch of orders...but some did and some did not show up. I emailed a few weeks ago asking how I go about contacting someone about these missing orders...but 2 weeks later and no response from them at all.....

I thought the fact that Hawaiian was offering miles from Amazon was a godsend. Now it's just a bunch of unanswered submissions via their web page. And a LOT of missing miles. It's not like I'm an amateur at this -- I track, I report, I make sure I'm credited. But it doesn't help when you get no reply, no response and no action -- and Hawaiian isn't helping their brand by simply not granted promised miles with their tie-in with Amazon.

Just noticed this when using Hawaiian Airlines eportal:

COMING SOON! Amazon.com will have some exciting new changes in December. Instead of earning 1 mile per dollar on all categories, you will be able to earn MORE miles on featured, rotating categories. Watch for our changes and check back often for our latest category earn opportunities!

looks like it may get 'enhanced'!

Thanks. I see it is now:

2 miles/$ for purchases at MyHabit.com, Women's Shoes, Men's Shoes, and Amazon Local.

And here's the tip to maximize the return. Enroll in RZ at Best Buy. Use your HA credit card at Best Buy to purchase Amazon gift cards (no fees). Redeem those cards on the Amazon.com. You'll get: HA miles for shopping with your credit card, Best Buy RZ points (250 points = $5 BB certificate), HA miles for shopping on Amazon.

Not sure that I would use the HA credit card to buy gift cards.

This is for those people that want to get the most HA miles (this is an HA forum after all). Obviously, when it comes to a credit card the choice is yours.

Note the small print: you can't earn for Amazon purchases (even in those categories) through the HA MileFinder anymore.
