Wow! Fantastic! I had a trip to Europe in September, so I'd hit the $1,000 even if it's only non-US spending! Thanks for pointing it out. Glad to see they're doing something for existing cardmembers with all the promotions aimed at getting new customers.

Same here- looks like all spend counts no matter which country or currency the spend happens in. I think some folks misread the bit about local currency and think it's a non-US offer.

I really don't understand this promo. Did they not tell anyone to save miles? (USBank sent me two postcards about the 15k miles for 3x$750 spend). Is it meant to be targeted and they forgot to mention that?

Thanks OP! Wish I had known this earlier - would have been much easier to meet the $1K. If it counts prior spending I have a small headstart, but this isn't my primary card. Time to shift some expenses around.

Sign up a second time. It will tell you that you're already registered.
