This is my first post in the trip reports, but it's not my first trip abroad. I'm experimenting with starting a travel blog and trying to put a different content like working out at the local gyms and checking out the crossfit affiliate in that country. Here are two posts about my recent trip to Nepal to trek to the base camp of Mount Everest. Everest Base Camp Experience Everest Base Camp Pre - Trip Preparations I went with a reputable guide service based in Nepal so it was really cheap in terms of what you get and what you pay for. Anyway, check it out.
great reports. I envy you. Everest is on my lengthy bucket list of things to accomplish in life. Lukla was featured on a documentary as one of the most dangerous airports in the world to fly in and out of.
Loved the trip report. As a geek, I have to ask: did the internet cafe use satellite service or wired internet (dialup?)
Satellite, It was awefully slow, hence the reason why I took a picture of the NCAA bracket screen so my trekking buddy didn't have to look it up himself. Thanks for all the likes! I'll keep posting them
Loved your post! I did the NEBC last June, your report is making me want to head to the other side.....
Great trip report! I especially loved your descriptions and experiences at the tea houses on your way to EBC! While many years ago I went to Kathmandu, we only ventured to a few nearby villages. Thanks for taking us further!
Everest Base Camp Trek is an incredible experience introducing us to an amazing view of the highest mountain in the Himalaya, The Everest Base Camp Trek passes through a collection of small villages, allowing us to get a feel for the region and its peoples. The photographic opportunities are limitless thus enabling us to capture and relive our experience upon our return home.
