Tommy - I think you meant to write 'Program - New York' above! Also, is there a special group rate for the Andaz 5th Avenue? Thanks!

    Thanks,

I'm getting the rate tomorrow as the person in charge is out of town. Hope to get them to match the 170 at the Andaz Wall Street. Will try my best

    There's a AAA rate of $153 (and a 'G2' bonus)!
There is a promo code ('THRILL') that comes up with a rate of $236.
Hoping that a better rate can be negotiated!

I will be there all day Saturday, JoAnn is joining for dinner, then we're off to Princeton. I just learned her sister will pick her up in Princeton Sunday, so I will most likely be back for Sunday's session.

Does anyone know the closest parking to the hotel?

If you're willing to park a few blocks away ie west of 8th - 9th avenue, you may get luck and get a free street spot in the 40's/50's. Read the signs carefully.

Try this site. It shows where on street parking is technically available. It gives coupon rates for garages.

    http://nyc.bestparking.com/index.php#1

Or a better one for on street parking is

    http://primospot.com/spots/search#

I am parking W 49th- W 50th ish on street (a miracle) or in a garage with a coupon from bestparking.

We have relatively new cars--on street is not an option for me.
Thanks for the referral--I will find something in the area.
    See you tomorrow!
