FWIW, I signed up for the MR and Skyinches offers and got the "unqualified" e-mail re: the MR offer. I called and was told that it was because I could only sign up for one. They removed the Skyinches promo and confirmed that the MR promo was on my account. I was a "current" account holder.

I'm currently doing the AA promo, then DL. By reading this thread, it looks like you could pair AA with DL, but not AA with MR or DL with MR. Does anyone have a different take on this?

You can absolutely do AA and DL. It is possible to do AA, DL, and MR, although not a lot of people have pulled it off. It seems that the MR promo may be working for more people over the past couple of weeks.

Signed up for all 3, got three "unqualified" emails. Delta miles posted today, I will be checking for AA tomorrow and MR in 2 weeks.

Excited for the skypesos, but it would be REALLY cool to get the others too!

I'm still a little unclear on the order and possible concurrent-ness (not a word, I know), of these promos. I registered for the AA in late June, deposited $100k, got the 50k miles, then registered for the DL promo and deposited $15 (the original $100k was in increments about this size too). This week 25k dl posted. Don't I need to deposit $50k for that amount of miles? Can AA and DL be done concurrently with the same money? How come I received so many dl miles? Obviously I'm not complaining, but I'm curious. Should I expect the other 25k next week based off the original $100k or am I just confused?

I registered for the MR today, so we'll see if I get the ding email within the next few days. While I'd like another 25k dl, I'm in the hole after doing a big transfer for the BA bonus, so I'm prioritizing the mr points. Unless I can earn them and dl concurrently.....anyone have any clarification for me? I'm very new to all this, so any explanations you can offer (here or by PM) are welcomed.

    Thank you.

    One last question-

When I applied for the DL promo I already had an account and I assumed it would link to that one, but when I jumped through the hoops from their initial email I ended up with a new account (although obviously I was not a new customer). Everything I've read says that I don't need to actually open a new account, just fund the existing account and I'll still get the miles/points.

I just received an email from fido saying "here's the information you requested" (in reference to the MR promo), and wants me to open a new account. If I do that, then cycle the money from dl->bank->mr->bank->dl and likewise, could I get both promos simultaneously? (assuming I can make all transfers within 90 days). Or does the mr promo supersede the dl one and therefore it doesn't matter what I do, I'll only earn mr points? Anyone?

    Thank you.

You will get the email with a link for opening a new account for each promo you register for. You only need the one account though. It will register the promos to that acct based on your SS. I'm currently getting the DL/MR simultaneously. I signed up for all 3 at the same time (AA, then MR, then DL) and received 3 dings. As of today I've gotten my first 15k DL miles and 15k MR points from the same $25k in deposits into a single account. It doesn't look like I will get the AA miles, but I am perfectly happy with the double-dip.

From what I've read on TOBB the DL miles post off of the original deposits if it's within a certain amount of time. The 25k you got probably came from the last cycle you did totalling $50k. If you do another $50k worth of deposits you should get the additional 25k. From my experience if you're registered for the MR promo while you're making those deposits you will get MR points too.

    Hopefully that helps!

Damn, I wish I had read your responses before calling fido earlier this morning. So I finally received the ding email for MR and I called them to (innocently) ask why my account wasn't "eligible" for it. The CSR put me on hold and came back with "you're already enrolled in the delta promo". Since I didn't realize that they could work concurrently, (and that I could safely ignore the ding email as you seem to be suggesting) I told him that I was unaware of the MR promo when I signed up for the DL one but that I would prefer the MR one if I could get changed over. (which is true). I said that I assumed, "as would anyone," that signing up for the mr promo would "overwrite" the dl one and that's why I was surprised to see that I was ineligible. He said that they would try to remove the dl promo but that I should call back tomorrow to see if they were successful.

I'm operating on the assumption that they can't pull the 25k back, but rather cut their losses on the other 25k coming down the pipe (theoretically) and are trying to remove the dl promo to prevent concurrent double-dipping. Are any of my assumptions correct?

While I did call them, I did not say anything about "anyone else getting them both" or any other BS, and I was always polite and friendly and used his first name at all times (Mike). I hope I didn't piss anyone off by calling.

    First Rule: Never Call. ;)

I detailed the process in Post #10. Sign up for AA or UA first and wait for miles to post. These two only work for new customers so if you apply for all three at the same time there is a good chance you will be unable to get the AA/UA bonus.

Sign up for Delta after AA/UA post and you should get the Delta miles automatically without redeposit.

    Ignore the 'open account' emails.

Normally, you will get an 'ineligible' email in two days on the MR promo if it is not going to work. Overcoming that is unlikely. The general policy (not uniformly-enforced by their automated system) is that you only get one promo. If you call attention to the fact that you are trying to get multiples, they will likely make sure that is what happens.

so are there people that have not been able to get both DL and MR miles?
is it best to cycle deposits on DL promo, let miles post, then register for MR and recycle deposits? or try to reg for both at same time?

I actually signed up for all three promos back-to-back. It doesn't look like the AA is working for me, but I have received my DL miles and MR points. I would sign up for the MR promo first (unless you want to try for AA, then do that first and try the other 2 after AA is complete). I am doing the DL and MR concurrently, so it seems you do not have to wait for everything to post with one before starting the next promo. YMMV

It still sounds unclear to me as far as the frequency of the miles posting. if we have 90 days to cycle deposits, how often does DL or MR post miles to acct? if i am cycling multiple deposits of $20k assuming each cycle takes about a week, will i see new miles post in between deposits?

You'll see miles each time you have reached a certain amount. In my case, first I received 15K AA miles after I cumulatively deposited $25K. Then, a week later, I got 10K AA miles for reaching $50K. I'm working my way up to $100K to get another 25K miles.

Yes. The saturday or sunday following the crossing of a deposit threshold, ($25/$50/$100k) you'll see the miles/points post. Keep in mind that (I believe) the money needs to clear your account before the following saturday, not simply show as pending.

It seems to be good time to get into the market. This is good for existing fidelity customer who brings in new money, right?
  7. wanderinghome Active Member

Only the DL and MR promos are open to existing customers.

I'm onboard. Just opened my Fidelity account using AA link. I will deposit and withdraw until I reach the 100,000 mark for the max 50,000 AA miles. Then I will try the MR and Delta link. Will post what transpires but I am excited if this churn can actually get me 150,000 in points and miles.

You guys better check out my post here-

I did the AA upon opening a new account and then the Delta offer. Cycling money of course. I just now months later got the AMex card and tried that and got shot down and told they would pull back my Delta miles (no comment on the AA offer). It hasn't happened but their attitude was they didn't like people abusing the offer and rightfully so.

received the rest of my DL skymiles this weekend (took 3 weeks of deposits, some miles posted each sunday)
I was simultaneuously reg'd for the MR promo too, but have not seen any MR points yet
tried to re-reg today (plannign to re-cycle the deposits) but it gives an error page
i want both!! ugh. could give it a few wweeks for post MR points, they seem to post everything slowly...
if they dont show, do i have any recourse? if i called, they would show i already got the DL miles?

I did AA about six months ago. I just signed up for the MR promotion. I'll wait a few days and see if I get shot down. Then I will deposit.
    I will report back.

OK where am I going Wrong, for 50k AA open and fund a new acct (never with Fid before) with $100k , I thought the $$ had to remain in the acct for at least 6 months.Or is it the acct must remain open for a min of 6 months but the $100k need not remain in it the whole time?

I planned to send in $50k x 2 to get the 50k and then register for DL, in order to get the 50k for DL does new $$ besides the $100k sent in for AA need to go into the acct? It seems from Ikes post #60 above that no new $$ need be sent in once you get the initial $100k into the acct

To receive the Amex MR points do you call Fidelity directly or is it done with American Express?
    Thanks

Not true I got my 1st 15k posted to my AA when I had gotten my 1st $25k as Pending, that $25 Never cleared into my acct in the end nor the next $25 I sent in, in the end I did send in $100k and got the full 50k in AA

I wanted to wait and see if the last $50k went in as the 1st if I would have gotten all of the 50k in AA or if Fid would have gone ahead and removed the Miles

When cycling money in and out of the Fido account, do you ever let the account get down to $0? If not, how much do you leave in the account as a cushion when cycling?
