First Milepoint Kiva Money Bomb Oct 9

Perhaps next time we do this, we should do it after the 15th of the month? That way, people can use the repayments from their other loans for news ones as part of the Money Bomb?

I keep having that song "Lollipop" from the Chordettes run through my mind, although with alternative lyrics.

In prepation for this Sunday's blitz for new loans.....

There were a bunch of loans that were going to expire before our money bomb, so I just finished funding all of them. Hope no one is mad at me for pulling the trigger a little early. The good news is that I put some extra money into our Kiva account, so Mr. and Mrs. Horseguy will still have our preplanned contribution to the money bomb on Sunday.

BTW, milchap's video is quite inspiring. Would the Kiva fanatics who will be at the launch party like us to bring our video equipment and make a video of why the people on this team lend?

And we are now #30 in loan amounts by teams.

Is there a way to get real time total Milepoint loans?

Not at all, as long as it's the 9th on a calendar, you're good to go

The totals are updated every 20 minutes officially, but sometimes the lag is a little more than that. One thing I notice is that a number of countries are disappearing and our totals are rising rapidly! Welcome to New Zealand everyone!!!

Seven countries have already been entered on the Wiki with all the loans in the country having a milepoint lender!
