The programs are quite similar. The first distinction is the FHR program requires that the guest have an Amex Platinum card, whereas the FSPP benefits and Virtuoso benefits are complimentary to all our clients regarless of the credit card they use. The second difference is that the FSPP program provides a full American breakfast, in the restaurant (including buffets) or through room service. FHR offers a continentall breakfast. The FHR guaranteed 4 pm check-out is a priority for some clients; others are happy with our requesting a late check-out, provided at the discretion of the hotel.

One of the most important distinctions is the personal service and follow through you will receive from a FSPP and Virtuoso agent.

    Preferred Partner Amenities
    • Daily full American breakfast for two people per bedroom, served through In-Room Dining or in the hotel restaurant (including buffets)
    • Food and beverage credit of $100 once during stay
    • Upgrade of one category, based on availability at time of check-in (excluding signature suites and villas)
    • Complimentary high-speed Internet access for all suite bookings
    Hope that helps.

For starters, all FS hotels are in the FSPP program but not all are participants in Amex FHR or Virtuoso.

Well, that depends on what you like. Personally I agree with you, however if your preferred vacation spot is one with hot weather and the beach, awesome nightlife, beach bods and latin flair, Miami will trump the other two. ;)

    Hello Everyone,
Just wanted to to say that booking through FHR is usually the worst way to get amenities and recognition. The best way to book any luxury property-- especially a FS, RC or the such, is to work with an agent that has a relationship with the sales manager on property!

It really is important to have someone who will work for you-- not send a reservation via a GDS or a website. To make sure that you are recognized as a guest, given the amenities that you are entitled to, and if not upgraded-- being in the best room location!

I work in the industry, so this is common practice for me... its all about relationships!
