Great first event for me. Had an awesome time in the bar last night and on our adventure in manhattan last night with a few of you! Very informative for this newbie, and great group of people. Can't wait for the next one!

After much delay leaving Newark, and every other plane leaving for Canada also delayed, I am finally on my last leg for the night... But all is not bad... Award ticket rebooked into full fare J, so thanks for the COS bonus EWR fuel service guys who loaded too much fuel, then took out too much!

Are there non-stops from EWR to Canada's flyover provinces?

Great event. This is my first one. It won't be my last. I heard everyone commenting about going on the next megado. I hope we are doing at least a 747. We are going to need it. It will sell out fast!

Where did they post the winning raffle #'s for those of us that had to leave early? I was told that you did not have to be present to win.......

They are going to post it on milepoint. It's not up yet but keep an eye out. I'm sure it'll either be in this thread or they'll notify us of where it's posted in this thread.

We just got home, Melinda will post the winners tomorrow.

tomy777 glad to know that you made it home ok. Plenty of accolades for the good job that was done in making FTU. A memorable and informative reality. It was my first time meeting so many like minded folks who sincerely want to share their solid and current knowledge of what is happening within the travel community. And as I mentioned before, blown away by the camaraderie that I witnessed at FTU. I look forward to the next meeting.so, Kudos to you and the crew!

Great to see some old friends and make so many new ones. An awesome few days at both the Freddies and FTU to top off a crazy couple of weeks. Now I shall sleep. For a month. Kthxbye!

We just got home (the plane had to stop in Cleveland for extra fuel), but it was great meeting everyone over the weekend. Looking forward to the next time...sooner rather than later!

Wait till you see what I have planned to donate for the Megados and for the next FTU! I'm glad to help our charities and in turn also hooking up my MP friends. Thank you to everyone for making this event happen. Just can't wait see all of you again very soon

Wow you got great value out of your raffle tickets! I bought $100 worth of tickets and I didn't win even win any of my items back LOL. That's ok I made up for it with all the extra free Expert Flyer baggage tags.

Was there a lot of swag to collect?

Not really. But Million Mile Secrects was very gracious and did a bunch of free giveaways as well providing us students with great looking notepads and pens. I think there were also some plastic Freddie Awards Luggage tags. Marshall Jackson hooked me up with a cool MJ Keychain, Point Miles and Martinis set me up with a T-shirt and custom cocktail napkins, and I believe Mommy Points gave away a shell gift card in one of her sessions. These are all truly awesome people and you Definately need to check out their blogs if you haven't yet!

I survived NEW JERSEY - learned a lot and met great people.

I even saw a naked man in the sauna (he didn't realize the sauna was co-ed and came marching in... full frontal....) (blog post to follow).
