    The Location:

The property is very easy to find. It's at the end to the left of SR 60 (Gulf-to-Bay), can't miss the 16- story pink building as you are driving over the bridge (about 30 minutes for TPA).

    Parking:

The hotel entrance is on the main road, Gulfview blvd and parking is just past the entrance to the right up on a ramp. Parking is $14 per day, wish they offer free parking to Diamonds.

    Check-in:

Check-in was efficient and courteous, there are 3 check-in kiosks. We were greeted promptly and as Diamond, we were offered Diamond amenity (F&Bs) or points. We got upgraded to the one-bedroom suite (pics) as Diamond.

    Regency Club:

Since the hotel does not have a Regency club, we were offered breakfast at the restaurant and the bill will be taken off at check-out. Breakfast menu choices include A la carte or buffet ($20/per).

    The Room:

The suite has a full kitchen with dishes, blender, microwave and 2 full bathrooms, a dinning table with 4 chairs, 2 flat screen TVs, balcony with 6 lounge chairs, a pull out sofa bed. Excellent Wifi signal in room, coin laundry ($1.50) is available on our floor (10th).

    The verdict:

Overall, very impressed with the property of this quality right on the beach. It gives the Don Cecar a run for their money on the Pinellas county gulf beaches.

Beach looks quite nice from the photos. I do despise that insipid pink color.

Did you get a chance to dine at any of the property's restaurant(s)?

I agree. The gulf beaches are very nice, white sand and warm water. Though, summer time is unbearable.

My sister had her wedding at the Don, the food was average at best. I didn't eat at any of their restaurant(s).

On the other hand, the Hyatt Clearwater food was very decent, I had breakfast (free for diamonds) and Lunch. Both times it was very good.

Thx for the review. The bath looks huge! I was a little confused though. This property is directly on the beach correct (not across the street or something) ?

Thanks for the review. I have been visiting Clearwater since I was a young child and this hotel is the best in town.

Not exactly, there is a bicycle/ jogging path between the hotel and the beach.

It is across the 2 lane street from the beach. There are no buildings on the beachside - just the beach - consider this "on the beach" as a result.
