We just finished clearing up our classrooms, and now we get to start again from the beginning... sigh.

Still, no one was hurt and the power is still on

Seems like the summer flight schedule from Sendai on ANA is about to be announced ("sometime in the next two or three days"), according to the helpful lady I spoke to yesterday evening...

Come on already, I need to book my flights

In other news, life here is pretty much back to normal. The rainy season is about to start, but otherwise it's all good.

Sendai update: Tanabata festival finishing up, weather muggy but not too hot, summer holidays on the way. Next recommended visiting point: mid-September to December (due to much more pleasant weather).

Important Sendai update: the train line from the airport into Sendai has still not been fixed: they are running a bus service instead. No date as for when it might be completed.

Sendai airport was closed briefly yesterday after our wee M7.3 disturbance and attending tsunamis. It's fine now (I flew out at 14:00 and there were slight delays to several flights, but due to strong winds and bad weather in Hokkaido)
