Howdy Milepoint, I need some advice. The plus one and I have 4-5 days, in a few weeks, to explore the Alaska Coast. Here are the facts: We're heading south from Anchorage on a Sunday and need to return to Anchorage no later than lunch time the following Thursday. We've already got another few days set aside to visit Denali and Fairbanks and will have a rental car. I will sincerely appreciate any advice y'all can offer on cool things to do and Kenai Fjords day cruise options and discounts. Our goals are to see lots of nature (especially wildlife) maybe catch some salmon or halibut and not spend an arm and a leg. Thanks in advance!
If you're up for the associated exercise, the kayaking of the fjords was one of the most awesome things I've ever done. We had an absolute blast. But it was also a full day and exhausting.
