Thanks Freddddddy good buddddy Never got any points for the miles I drove in a semi You can't imagine pulling a trailer loaded with 5 swaying elephants During my earliest time driving a truck we would make up dummy hoses to look like we had air connections to the trailer brakes when in fact we were pulling ancient vacuum brake equipped trailers (not the elephants) Too stupid to care about safety issues we also had no insurance Talk about dumb luck we had plenty & a good time was had by all
From the person 90% of flyertalk thought was PSU Shorty? My initials used to be GJ. Now they are GA. To me, as someone who lives in the south, when I see GA I think of Georgia. To prevent people from thinking I have anything to do with that state I chose to not go by GA83.
neither my FT or MP names are travel related, on FT, I am only one brain cell (neuron), on Milepoint, I get to use my whole head!
A show of hands from those who remember vacuum tubes How bout the testers at many of the drug stores Nowadays the whole shebang fits in the palm of your hand Ironicaly now the rock & roll musicians are looking for older vacuum tube sound equipment as they believe that the old stuff produces a richer fuller sound Over & out good buddy
Ha! I remember going with my dad to the local SavOn Drugs with a paper bag of tubes to test in the tube tester. So cool! I still have an old Philco radio from the 40s. A big console model that has a turntable inside. It only plays 40s music.
Welcome and glad to see your post count here is significantly higher! Hope you are finding MP to your liking?
