One day till the announcements... Am excited to replace my "starting to get crummy" iPad 1! :)

Amazing - one day until the announcement by the largest company in the world, and we still don't have solid facts. They really do an impressive job of corporate secrecy.

But you've got to admire it, too, no?

Indeed.. Its amazing how such secrecy still exists in the sector that they're playing at.. :)

Especially since the product is actually made by another company in China.

There have been former Apple employees who say they worked on fake projects for years, just to see if they could be trusted.

Anyone have a good vote for a way to watch live updates?

Engadget FTW... good coverage always, and the new live interface is nice... I like the pause feature, since I'll be jumping around a few different tasks over the next hour.

Well, first thing they showed off is the Retina Display. I'm a fan of it on the iPhone, can't wait to see what this iPad's screen looks like in person. 2048 x 1536!!!

Disappointed in the AppleTV info. Looks like the added 1080p support and changed the interface a little. I really want third-party apps. I guess I'll just have to look into jailbreaking the thing . . .

There's so much untapped potential with that product, it's a shame it always falls short.

Agree completely. Maybe with iOS 6?!

theverge.com's feed is definitely better than engadget's today. More photos, for sure.

Not loading for me. edit: never mind, I went through the website and not the link. I recognize Josh, didn't realize he started a new site. Only problem is that it's a little behind.

Also, iPad 3 will have 4G LTE. Done. I'm getting one.

I do like the way Engadget's feed is scrollable, and the pictures sync up . . .

I think I jinxed theverge.... That's why I tend to have more than one of the feeds open at the same time. :)

LTE at a decent price might do it for me, but probably not. It's becoming far less often that I'm somewhere without free wifi.

    No 128GB iPad

    WiFi: 16/32/64GB for $499/599/699
    4G: 16/32/64GB for $629/729/829

Outsiders opinion of the wifi vs lte on a tablet. Get it on your phone or a single device. then use it as you need.

I agree with autolycus about reliable wifi being easier to find these days. I went with a wifi only tablet and use my lte phone as a back up when i really need a signal and don't have one.

And that's why LTE doesn't do it for me... 32GB is almost required for any decent amount of video and games, so $729 is the entry point for me... that's just too steep with an iPad2 already. Oh well.

That's more likely to be my plan, although the new iPad will serve as a hotspot, according to the presentation.

This is what I do with my laptop on the road, turn my phone into a hotspot. Though for people like my dad (who loves his iPad 1) who don't have a smartphone or a laptop, getting 4G on the device itself is a great feature. Plus it can turn into a hotspot, too.

I'm curious what VZW and AT&T will charge for 4G data, especially since it looks like 1 device will be able to go on both networks, so competition exists. Although competition hasn't done much for the industry ...
