    So, depending on the Hyatt details (and what time I can fly in on Wednesday), I'm probably up for a hotel share in DFW and SEA. Possibly LAX as well, although that's less likely.

    OK So i'm all booked and confirmed now. I'll be making my way to DFW via LAX and MEM (from MEL) on VA and DL... Yes, I know it's a OWMD, but the dollars didn't add up to fly QF (and hey I'm already platinum on VA).

    Getting in to DFW the evening before the festivities begin and departing LAX on the Sunday evening (just in case there's a major case of the hangovers!).

    Just booked my return: 1/29 AA40 LAX-JFK. Still not sure whether to fly in to DFW on Tues or Wed.

    LGA-DFW on 1/25... I can take an S80 or 738. There's a FT thread comparing but it mostly discusses F, and it's pretty much 50/50.

    Assuming I sit in the exit row, which should I choose?

    The S80 leaves 30 min before the 738 so either one works, time-wise.

    I'm going to use BA miles, and I figured 25k for F wasn't worth it for these planes for the ~4hr flight, when i can get Y for 12.5k.

    I'm flying F on an S80 in two weeks (SFO-LAX) so I hope I don't love it and regret this choice.

    I'm joining from London, picking up the BA program on Tuesday and then flying with the group (hopefully) on Wednesday to DFW. Back to London on Monday afternoon from LAX on Air New Zealand. Nationality trumps alliance for this flight, especially when the likes of BA are charging $8,600 for a Club World seat and NZ are charging about a third of that for Business Premier.

    I prefer the 738 and would choose 15C or D if in coach but I'm an aisle not a window person.

    Is anyone interested in taking a tour of the brand new Cowboys stadium prior to the DFW Hyatt reception at 6pm? According to Google Maps, it's only 20 minutes from the airport. I'm arriving at 11:30am and wanted to see if anyone else wanted to kill some time by taking the trip with me?

    I shall be coming in from Omaha on the Tuesday, rather than the Wednesday, just to be certain that I will be there in time. I can have a one man party the Tuesday evening!

    My "problem" was that I was actually ON AA, in the air, somewhere between London and Los Angeles, during the all-important Do booking time, and by the time I arrrived in L.A., the Do was sold out. Like many others, am awaiting news, yet also understanding that sometimes things do sell out within minutes, as this one apparently did,

    I'm also possibly interested... Currently planning on arriving at DFW at around 12:45 but could potentially take an earlier flight.

    You are arriving close to when I am. I might be interested too if we can work it our for those of us coming in about this time;)
    I can't take an earlier flight however. hehe. Coming in from Hawaii on a redeye first. I'm already paying more to change my previous arrangements. Lucky to even get to DFW on this day I think. Sigh. but the tour would be fun. Hope you can make it too

    So right now, it sounds like those that are interested are:

    1) lrluis ... 11:30 arrival
    2) FriendlySkies ...1:30 arrival
    3) Jubileesmom ... 1:30 arrival
    4) dmel ... 12:45 arrival

    I don't mind waiting. I'll need to eat lunch and pick up a rental car anyway. BTW, we only need 16 more to get a group rate, ha.
