So what's the meaning of "Original Member" then? I thought it was something like a recognition of those brave enough to jump on this ship from the very beginning. Oh, whatever. In the end, I am just a simple fella who wants more status miles.
My understanding is that only members that actively post prior to the end of March or April will be able to attain "Original Member" status; I guess others would just be "new" or just "members". There are also status levels that can be achieved but, to my knowledge, they don't really show to anyone but the individual.
I did some mighty powerful lurking during two weeks of beta testing but did not win any points (or miles) for my efforts. I was intrigued enough to come back post-beta; this place is lively !
As mentioned above, you are still at the very beginning. FT's been around over a decade; I'd imagine Randy expects MP to be around at least that long. So, looking back from 10 years from now, we're all helping this place launch!
