This is what it was like earlier today in KIX / Osaka Arrival at KIX. Hard to see but the grassy area between the asphalt is white with snow After crossing the bridge connecting KIX with the mainland Somewhere between KIX and Osaka Osaka station But for sendaiben and Simon it's nothing right???
You have to like my post first then the unlike will appear Safe travel tomorrow...that is if you plane isn't cancelled
Is he flying through TYO? It will be terrible if he missed his positioning flight or if that flight is delayed.
So how is the snow affecting you guys? JL isn't doing so good on on-time rating thus year with all these snow and volcanic eruption in japan. I noticed the snow storm makes JL's on-time rating drop to 70% range but 80% for NH. Maybe that's the result of downsizing the number of flights Not sure how accurate flightstats' data is on its site because one day I saw only 2 delays at OKA for NH so I went to NH site and there were actually more than that. They didn't change that number even the day after. I am guessing they will do that eventually when they compile the year-end rating... Hopefully the on-time rating will improve and there won't be much delays in the next few days
Well I have heard of no problems with flights or guests arriving late etc so I think it's been a good year but strange year because instead of snow falling continuously it has fallen heaps in 48 hours then a spell of like 1 week before another dump instead of snowing nearly every day.
Snow is now gone in Shinjuku. There was some cover yesterday and even early this morning, but it has melted away.
Dunno, but I haven't seen any snow down here either... I think I heard a JAL flight get diverted to KIX from Itami just as we were leaving (ANA left 20 minutes late but still got us in more or less on time), but it was very noisy and the announcement was on the other side of the airport so I'm not sure
