Diverted from ITM to KIX? Is the weather that bad in ITM? Maybe the snow storm is moving slowly to Kanto area and therefore they added an extra day to the warning Let's see if your return flight will be affected.
It wasn't a weather delay but rather an incoming flight delayed type thing (unless I was making it all up in my head -that happens sometimes too)
Currently expected to snow in the Kanto region starting around 4 or 5 pm, but only 2 mm/h or so in Tokyo; most of the snowfall will be up in Gunma. NRT is supposed to only get rain...
It seems to be getting heavier here. It melts when it hits the ground though. I think behind Mt.Rokko there'll be lots piled up!
Latest Weathernews forecast says snow in Tokyo starting around 9 PM, depending on how quickly the air chills down. Looking out my window in Nihonbashi and it is still dry as a bone, though pretty cloudy.
Here in Osaka you mean? No the snow is still pretty heavy. The roofs of houses around our office are white already.
JL001 on Feb 14 is affected by the snow storm http://www.ar.jal.com/cms/contents/en/special_news_341.html
About 2-3 cm on the ground around Shinjuku this morning... enough to make it a pain to walk to work. But it's sunny in Tokyo today, with a temperature well above freezing, so it should be melted off before long.
