1. We will spend about 5 minutes listening to Rosa's story. I'll do the translating and ask her simple questions about her business and her experience with Opportunity Fund. There should be time for questions, but it needs to be made very clear that the Milepoint team should not ask her personal questions about her finances: her loan payments, her FICO score, income, revenue, etc. aren't appropriate topics. I encourage them to ask questions about her dreams for the future of her business, her interest in crafts, or about her experience moving here from Ecuador, or other general questions that won't be too personal.
2. We'll have some time to browse through the shop. She has some beautiful crafts there, so it should be fun! Please remind everyone to have cash on hand (rather than credit cards).

Activity: This is a great opportunity for the lending team to see a domestic MFI and to better understand our partnership. As we discussed earlier, the space is very small, so the "tour" won't take much time. 1. Auction Behind-the-Scenes Tour
SuperShuttle will pick up at 6:15 for arrival at 7:00 at SFO – Host: Zach Leiwant
Meet at check-in kiosks on the side wall (about 20 feet from the security area)

At 8:40 – meet at SFO Courtyard 3 (Arrivals/Baggage Claim Level) for pick up with bus to join regular tour


2. Regular Tour
Peninsula Bus leaves at 7:50 and arrives at SFO at 8:45 to pick up Auction winners – drive to Virgin America HQ for 9am tour

NOTE: IF you are joining at SFO, please be at SFO Courtyard 3 by 8:40 am or head to 555 Airport Blvd directly if you are closer to the VX HQ.


Coffee break at 9:45 – bagels, cupcakes, coffee, tea, juice

Box lunch will be provided by Virgin America for eating on bus

Arrival at Sheraton Fisherman’s Wharf will be at approx. 12:45 and Kiva meeting begins at 1pm.

Is there parking at the KIVa HQ if I were to drive right there from SJC?

For the 10 VX auction winners, do we also have to pay the $25 VX tour fee, or is that fee already included because of our auction win?

yes, there is parking in the area as it is situated near the new convention center. The building itself does not have parking IIRC.

I have to check with the Raffle Committee. The $25 fee will offset (though not completely) the cost of food at the break and bus for the tour.

AFAIK, the $25 is charged for the default VX tour, so everyone needs to pay that.
The special auction tour is paid for separately!

For things that cost money are we gonna be able to charge it or can I get a full listing so I know much cash to bring.

You will need to pay this. Ideally, by giving me cash that morning, but credit cards will also be accepted.
