Actually, it was brought up and not really responded to. Instead, you just glossed over it with more hype abut your screen-scraping rpduct.
Could you please summarise, in plain language, any actual answers (i.e. responses that actually address questions and increase knowledge) that have been given? Whether you do so here or in the other thread is unimportant.
The answer has been originally provided at http://milepoint.com/forums/posts/99401/ The summary thereof can be found at http://milepoint.com/forums/posts/122024/
Your post 99401 is a remark about a Firefox extension. It doesn't answer any questions about your product. Your post 122024 is the claim, either untruthful or quite remarkable, that your product is capable of performing currency conversions without recourse to up-to-date conversion rates. The currency conversion process in itself is not really mysterious, making this one of the less interesting unanswered questions. This makes the fact that you're unwilling to answer it in a straightforward way all the more surprising.
I guess the only thing you want is to be able to sell your product Should NOT be allowed here or on F/T Peddle it somewhere else & pay for the advertising If Randy is on the take he should let us know
wow...that is an incredible insult to Randy, whose credentials have been nothing less than impeccable, probably libelous, and you should withdraw it.
That pretty much says it all. He wants us all to g away so he can continue to line his pockets reselling other people's data.
Thanks Xyzzy Unless there is profit sharing (that should be disclosed) then I don't think links to "buy it" sites should be allowed
I don't have a problem with the promotion of travel and travel related products on MiPo, although there do need to be limits and guidelines. One of the reasons I come here is to find out about airline special offers and good deals on hotels. Information about tools that can help frequent fliers adds further value -- but not if we're not being told the truth about those products, and not if the products themselves rely on underhand methods.
Not exclusive, AwardNexus.com has most of these same airlines (*A and *O) as it screen scrapes from the same airline websites you do. However AwardNexus has the advantage of allowing multi-day, multi-city, and even multi-airline/alliance searches and has a free version for the MP community.
It was our response to a request for an explanation by another poster. We are sorry that you appear to have misunderstood or misinterpreted our responses. This concludes the discussion, relating to the FOREX conversion functionality in the KVS Tool, as we see no value in continuing it further.
The OP was a reply to a specific question by cockpitvisit and should not be take out-of-context: its own forum, where it can (and should) be discussed.
All we can say is that it's a very bad form for a guest to insult the host after being invited to their house [-of-miles], even if they do not particularly like the room layout (forum structure) or some of other invited guests.
Not at all. It's rather that you didn't address the question. Could you please summarise, in plain language, the actual answers (i.e. responses that actually address questions and increase knowledge) that have been given? Shouting doesn't achieve anything beyond indicating that you're displeased. The currency conversion, as has been said on a number of occasions, is not in itself very interesting. What is hard to understand is why you bother to claim that it happens magically. In this case, I don't see that an honest explanation would harm you.
How eloquent Mr or Mrs whoever you are Please identify yourself if you wish any credibility Ads should look like ads if we have to be subjected to them Masquerading as just another member is deceitful & cowardly I never knew of you before but what I learned here is all I need Come out of the woodwork cockaroach before you mention form
Tom1024 is admonished by KVS and told that Award Nexus has Given that KVS opened the thread by presenting a list of alleged advantages over Expert Flyer, this seems a little rich.
