Read over on FT that LAN seems to be changing email servers or something, hence there is additional delay in answering emails......
Still nothing...... the good news is that the Director of Argentine Airport Operations for LAN will be coming over to our house this evening. I hope to be able to find out who the "executive" in charge of LANPass is here in Buenos Aires, perhaps an email to him/her will have some sort of desired outcome....? Or maybe not. I will report back once I have more. Stay tuned.... but, please, nobody hold your breath !!!!!!!!!!!!!
So.... after the chat I had with the LAN exec at the party we held at home, I received an email from his secretary asking me for a few pieces of info and was told that my issue will be solved by next week. Stay tuned.... this time I think its for real....
Not sure how much the entire party cost... all I will say is that on wine alone it was a few multiples of that... In any event, the "investment" was going to be made regardless of the LAN thing... but I guess if it gets solved I can add it to the ROE for the evening....
So.... my card has been issued. My friend had it delivered to his office yesterday afternoon. I will meet with him later today and will have finally resolved this fiasco.....
Got my card and package..... the plastic is not exactly a looker, but it will get me lounge access and should also buy me a free bag on AA so thats all I was looking for...
